RWHS Press Release
BRITISH ONE AND TWO
HEAD FOR ROYAL WINDSOR
Britain's No.1 showjumper Nick Skelton will face stiffer competition
in the big classes at Royal Windsor Horse Show this year (11-14
May 2006) with the news that British No.2 Michael Whitaker will
be in the line-up of stars at this year's show.
But the pair, who will only recently have returned from the World
Cup Finals in Kuala Lumpur, are unlikely to have it all their
own way with other strong contenders on the start lists including
John and Robert Whitaker.
The shows action packed programme will enjoy further support
from the stars of the horse world on Thursday evening, when the
dressage spectacular will feature entries from GB team riders
Carl Hester, Vicki Thompson, Peter Storr and Richard Davison.
For those wishing to learn more about the art of dressage, Emma
Hindle will be hosting a Masterclass.
In the Pas de Deux, entries have been received from Anni Macdonald
Hall and Rosie Deakin, Vicki Thompson and Theresa Symth, Richard
and Nicky Barrett, with Nicky competing on former Grand Prix
National Champion Giorgio.
This year's displays will include family favourites The Prince
Philip Cup, this year celebrating it's 50th anniversary, the
Shetland Pony Grand National as well as The Musical Drive of
The King's Troop, RHA and the JCB Dancing Diggers.
Tickets are available through the website at www.rwhs.co.uk.
