January 22nd 1976 and the Daily Express reports the inauguration of Concorde services to Bahrain the previous day 21st January 1976. The aircraft used was G-BOAA (Alpha Alpha) now on display at the Scottish Museum of Flight, following a sea voyage in 2005 on the barge Terra Marique from Isleworth and a night-time road journey from Heathrow on April 4th 2004.
